The Marion County Census for 1860 gives Calvin Summers (1820) and Lucinda, his wife (1825), with their birthplace as Tennessee. At that time they were the parents of: Foyntain E.; James W.; Pleasant B.; Jane E.; David C.; and William W. Other children who were born later are Bascom and Jeff.
Jeff Summers married Tabitha (Bitha) Adams. They were the parents of: Janie, who married Boone Doshier; Lydia, who married Harve Doshier; and William (Bill), who married Ora Covey.
Janie and Boone are the parents of: Troy, Jewel, Donna, Floyd and Eva. Lydia and Harve's children are: Harold, Doyne, Altus (Shorty), Gladys, Charles, Bill, Mildred and Clyde.
Bill and Ora's children are Coy and Norma Jean.
